Terms of submission
It is a condition of publication that manuscripts submitted to the Industrial Journal of Industrial Engineering and Management have not been published and will not be simultaneously submitted or published elsewhere. Submited manuscript must represent original work. Originality, creativity and cross-disciplinary approach or perspectives are strongly encouraged. By submitting a manuscript, the authors agree that the copyright for their article is transferred to the publisher if and when the article is accepted for publication (a consent to publish and copyright form that should be signed by the leading author on the behalf of all authors will be provided by the Editor). The copyright covers the exclusive rights to reproduce and distribute the article, including reprints, photographic reproduction, microform or any other reproduction of similar nature and translations.
Peer review process
International Journal of Industrial Engineering and Management selects articles following a double blind, peer review process. To achieve this, the editor will remove authors' names and affiliations from the document sent to the reviewers. Also, authors should take care not to state their names or affiliations elsewhere in the manuscript, or to make that information easy obtainable in other way (e.g. "As we have demonstrated in .." where is a reference to the paper published by the same author(s)). Once the editorial team has checked that the contribution follows the formatting and content author guidelines, it is sent to two anonymous reviewers with expertise in the field. Grounded on reviewer's recommendations, the editor will communicate the overall result of the evaluation (rejected, accepted or accepted with modifications), including the reviewer's comments. If the article has been accepted with modifications, authors should send back to the journal a new version of the article, that will be reviewed again by the same team of reviewers. The authors can attach a letter to the editor, which should indicate the modifications made in the article following the editor's and reviewer's comments. If the authors decide not to follow a particular reviewer's instruction, they can explain in the same letter their reasons for not doing so.
